Our multi-merchant DirectSpend cards feature select groups of retail and travel partners, whose brands reach hundreds of thousands of cardholders. By becoming a Blackhawk Engagement Solutions merchant partner, you’ll open your doors to all kinds of new opportunities. Here are some general guidelines that we use to determine if a merchant is a good fit for partnership.

We ask that DirectSpend merchants:

  • Provide a rewarding and memorable experience for customers
  • Are able to draw reward earners as “destination” retailers
  • Have broad coverage – geographic locations and/or an e-commerce website
  • Be willing to pay commission fees for traffic building, sales generating and promotional opportunities
  • Enhance the roster of existing merchant partners and their products/services
  • Have the ability to process invoices through a central billing system
  • Adhere to a standard operational processing infrastructure
